CMC Development & Construction is proud to announce our newest project with Harmony Public Schools (HPS) — the ground-up construction of a new 12,000-square-foot UIL Gymnasium Facility at Harmony School of Innovation in Garland, Texas.
As an open-enrollment charter school network serving communities across Texas, Harmony continues to invest in facilities that enhance student experience, athletic excellence, and community engagement. This new gymnasium will play a key role in expanding opportunities for students both on and off the court.
Project Overview
The project includes the ground-up construction of a fully equipped UIL-compliant gymnasium facility designed to support competitive athletics and school-wide events. The 12,000-square-foot facility will include a full interior play court, student changing rooms, restrooms, a concessions area, office space, and dedicated storage and mechanical areas. An exterior canopy and associated site improvements will complement the building and enhance functionality and accessibility.
The construction scope consists of concrete, drywall, glazing systems, interior finishes, roofing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, low-voltage infrastructure, landscaping, and other related work as specified in the project documents. This comprehensive scope reflects CMC’s ability to manage complex ground-up construction projects from early site development through final finishes and commissioning.

Harmony School of Innovation – Garland continues to serve a growing student population in the Garland community. The addition of this UIL gymnasium will provide a regulation-compliant athletic facility that supports student athletics, extracurricular programming, assemblies, and community events.
