CMC Development & Construction provided comprehensive renovation services for the Lone Star College School of Cosmetology, transforming an existing 16,500-square-foot metal building into a modern, fully code-compliant instructional facility. The project included site redevelopment, selective demolition, exterior envelope improvements, and a complete interior build-out designed to support hands-on cosmetology education.

The renovated facility featured new classrooms, teaching labs with salon stations and shampoo bowls, faculty offices, break areas, and fully ADA-compliant restrooms. Major building system upgrades included new HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure to support long-term performance and reliability. Site improvements included new sidewalks, ramps, landscaping, and drainage enhancements to improve accessibility and campus integration.

All work was delivered in compliance with ADA, Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), and Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements. This project reflected CMC’s experience delivering complex educational renovations that prioritized safety, quality, and functionality while supporting workforce-focused learning environments.
