CMC converted a former Salvation Army thrift store in Freeport into an emergency residential shelter for Brazoria County. The renovation created overnight accommodations, community living areas, offices, food-service capabilities, public and private restrooms, and supporting residential spaces. CMC coordinated the building and site improvements to create a safe, functional, and dignified environment that supports individuals and families during times of need.
